How many of you use Pinterest? Don’t you just love it? I use it most often to keep track of the many recipes I find on the internet that I would love to try. However, I keep “pinning” these delicious-looking recipes, but I never seem to actually make any of them. Well, today, I decided to peruse my “Recipes to Try” pinboard and picked out a very popular one, these Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake Cookies. I was intrigued by the combination of flavors. Sounds good, huh?
The cookies turned out very light and fluffy, almost cake-like, and full of flavor from the sweet, juicy blueberries and slightly tart meyer lemons wrapped around a cream cheese center. I actually love how the blueberries burst into the cookie to leave a dark purple trail of color and flavor. One piece of advice, if you make these, make sure the dough is well-chilled to make it much easier to wrap the dough around the cream cheese. I really think you’ll love these cookies; they’re just a little ray of sunshine, perfect with a cup of tea.
Since I followed the recipe exactly as written, I won’t be reprinting it here. Here is the link for the original recipe from Hot Polka Dot.

If there’s any chance you have that recipe copied somewhere, I’d kill for a copy of it. Hot Polka Dot no longer has a domain, and while I’ve made these before I didn’t save the recipe anywhere and I don’t want to settle for a different one!
Can I use canned blueberries? I’m from the Philippines and I can’t find any fresh blueberries here. Thanks! 🙂 PS. I’m a Pinaholic too =)))
Hi there! Thanks for your email. I have never used canned blueberries so I don’t know anything about it. Is it whole? Is there liquid? I would think it would be ok, but I’m not sure.

It’s whole and it has liquid or some sort of syrup I guess. Will let you know how it turned out! Thanks! 🙂
Wow Daisy, what a combination – all my favourite things! Will certainly be trying these soon, thanks for sharing.

Yumm 🙂
I agree… I look.. (and drool, shhh) and never get around to making any. Here’s a perfect example of why I should! They’re beautiful and it sounds like they were just so tasty!
Yep, totally a Pinterest fan. 🙂 And now a fan of these cookies! YUM!
I’ll have to follow you on Pinterest, Anna.

I don’t use Pinterest yet — I’m always behind the curve (and seriously reluctant to spend even MORE time putzing about online than I already do) when it comes to new social media. It took me forever to get a cell phone. It took me even longer to get a facebook, blargh.
Still, sometimes I browse other people’s Pinterest galleries — and it seems pretty neat!
These blueberry cookies look great! C’mon — CHEEEEEEEESECAKE!? Heck yes. 😀
While I really like Pinterest, sometimes, it is my biggest time waster. I end up going on there and just spending way to much time looking at everything.
