feta and lemon dip

Feta and Lemon Dip

Feta, the firm, yet crumbly cheese from Greece, is transformed into a smooth and tasty dip, with the texture and tanginess reminiscent of hummus. Once you make it, it will become one of your favorites.  Trust me!

Feta and Lemon Dip

This is the second feta cheese recipe I’ve featured in a short time. You see, I am in the middle of a feta cheese obsession. It all started when I read a recipe for feta baked in tomato sauce. It sounded so good, I had to make it immediately (click here for my adaptation of Baked Feta in Tomato Sauce). Then, I ran across this recipe for dip made with feta, lemon, and olive oil from Sweet Paul, and, again, it was a “must make”. I love its salty, bright, and lemony flavors; it is so addictingly good! This is the quintessential summer dip.

Feta and Lemon Dip

Seriously, trust me on this; it will be one of your favorites.

  2. Beautiful, Daisy! Early in my London stay I went through a feta obsession, since the fetas made in different regions are so different from one another. Shhh! Bulgarian feta is my favorite, I think. (Don’t tell the Greeks!)

  3. This sounds absolutely delicious! And the best part is I already have most of the ingredients at home, so thanks for sharing and helping me figure out what to do with all lemon and feta I happen to have!

  4. That looks incredible. I would have to eat it all by myself, though, since I’m friends with a bunch of feta-haters. Although…judging by how fast I went through the baked feta, that might not be an issue.

  5. Daisy – that looks soooo good! I especially love your styling & all of those beautifully colored vegetables. What are the colorful rounds in the front? Potatoes? Turnips?

    • Thanks so much! I’ve been really getting into food styling lately. It’s so much fun. Those rounds in front are French radishes. They come in a variety of radish peel colors – white, pink, and red. Pretty, right?
